01Scope
This policy explains how BlueEyes Technology Group (“we”) handles personal data when Pikpa provides pickup coordination, estimated arrival times, store purchases, and customer support.
Pikpa connects both participants in the same pickup, shares the pickup location, and shows arrival progress. The waiting person does not see the driver’s live coordinates or route, although the system processes the location data needed to calculate distance and estimated arrival time.
No account or sign-in is required. When a pickup begins, the app creates a random code that identifies the device and links the task only for that pickup. It is deleted when the task is completed, cancelled, or times out.
02Data we process and why
| Category | Data | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Pickup identification | Name or label you enter and vehicle hints such as plate, color, or model | Help both parties recognize each other and confirm joining |
| Task information | Pickup code, join requests, confirmation and cancellation status, deadline, and progress | Link participants, manage the flow, and prevent improper access |
| Pickup location | Address entered or selected on the map and corresponding coordinates | Tell the driver the destination and calculate distance and arrival estimate |
| Location data | Driver device location; waiting person’s location when “Current location” is used | Update progress or help select the pickup point |
| Task device code | Random code created by the app when the pickup begins | Identify the device and link the task during that pickup |
| Support information | Your email address, issue description, and attachments you choose to send | Answer questions, troubleshoot, and handle data-rights requests |
Pickup data is transmitted to and temporarily stored on Google Cloud servers in the United States only while the task is active, then deleted under Section 7. Pikpa does not record IP addresses or server connection logs, collect crash or diagnostic data, or use push notification services.
We process data you provide, data authorized by your device, actions by the other participant, and information supplied by stores or service providers only as necessary to perform the requested service, with required consent, to meet legal duties, or as otherwise permitted by law.
03Location, background use, and your choices
Driver
After the waiting person sends the pickup location, Pikpa begins receiving the driver’s location to update distance and estimated arrival time. With the required permission and device support, updates continue while the app is in the background. The waiting person does not see the driver’s live coordinates or route.
Location processing stops when the driver taps “I’m here.” It also stops and temporary task data is cleared if either party cancels, the task times out, the driver force-closes the app, the phone restarts, or the network disconnects. Ending a task does not automatically revoke the device-level location permission.
Waiting person
You may enter an address or select a point manually. Location permission is needed only when you use “Current location”; denying it does not prevent manual selection. You share the pickup point for this task, not a continuous movement history.
You may change location permissions in device settings. Withholding required pickup data or revoking the driver’s permission may prevent distance or arrival updates from working.
05Ad-free version and third-party technology
Pikpa is a one-time paid, ad-free download. It has no subscriptions or in-app purchases and uses no advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or push notification services.
The services required for the app are Google Maps, Google Cloud, and DreamHost for support email, as described in Section 4.
06Store purchase information
Apple App Store or Google Play processes the paid download. The purchase platform handles full payment-card details, banking information, transaction records, and receipts under its own policy.
Pikpa servers do not receive or verify store receipts and do not retain purchase or payment data. Use the original store account for re-downloads.
07Retention, location, and deletion
| Data | Location | Retention rule |
|---|---|---|
| Pickup locations, names, vehicle hints, pickup point, pickup code, random device code, and task information | Google Cloud / United States | Temporarily stored only during the active task; completely deleted upon completion, cancellation, timeout, or other termination |
| IP address, connection logs, crash and diagnostic data | Not applicable | Not recorded or collected by Pikpa |
| Receipts and payment data | Not applicable | Not received or retained by Pikpa; handled by the purchase platform |
| Support email and attachments | DreamHost systems | Deleted 30 days after the case is closed |
| Pickup-data backups | Not applicable | Google Cloud does not back up temporary pickup data |
The initial service region is Taiwan. Pickup data is transferred to Google Cloud servers in the United States and deleted under the schedule above. If specific support or dispute records must be retained by law, their use will be restricted and handled under applicable requirements.
08Your data rights and how to contact us
Email [email protected] to request access, review, a copy, correction, supplementation, cessation of collection, processing or use, deletion, or withdrawal of applicable consent. If a request cannot be fulfilled under law, we will explain why.
We reasonably verify a request using the sender’s email address and any pickup code you can provide; we do not ask for an identity document. Do not email full card numbers or unnecessary sensitive information. If task data has already been deleted, we will tell you that none remains to retrieve.
We generally respond to access or copy requests within 15 days and to correction, cessation, or deletion requests within 30 days. If the law permits an extension, we will notify you and explain the reason.
09Data security
App-server traffic is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Google Cloud data is accessible only to authorized administrators. Pickup-code attempts are rate- or attempt-limited.
System logs do not contain names, pickup addresses, coordinates, or full pickup codes, and Google Cloud does not back up temporary pickup data. We handle and provide notice of personal-data incidents as required by applicable law.
10Minors and policy updates
People aged 18 or older may use Pikpa independently. Anyone under 18 must have a legal guardian read and agree to this policy and must use the service with that guardian’s accompaniment or assistance. The service is not designed specifically for children.
Updates will show a new effective date. We will give appropriate notice of material changes and obtain consent again when legally required.
