01The service and these terms
Pikpa is provided by the operator listed above (“we”). It helps people who arrange their own pickup connect to the same task, send the pickup point, view distance and estimated arrival time, and report arrival status.
Before downloading, installing, or using Pikpa, please read these terms and the Privacy Policy. By beginning to use Pikpa, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to follow these terms. Separate consent or device authorization required by law will be obtained separately.
The initial service region is Taiwan.
02What Pikpa provides
A driver can create a task, share a pickup code, confirm the waiting person, receive the pickup point, and update arrival progress. A waiting person can enter a pickup code, confirm the other party, send the pickup location, and view status.
Pikpa is a coordination tool. It does not provide transportation, dispatch drivers, verify driving qualifications, or guarantee either party’s identity. Codes, names, and vehicle hints assist recognition but are not identity or safety certification.
The service is not an emergency service or guaranteed real-time communications channel. Arrival estimates are for reference and are not a promise of arrival.
03Eligibility and basic responsibilities
You must be legally eligible to use and purchase the service and obtain guardian consent or assistance where required. Information you provide must be accurate enough for the pickup and must be information you are entitled to provide.
Share the pickup code only with the intended person and verify information before confirming. If a code is exposed, the other party is unknown, or the address is wrong, stop waiting, reject, or cancel and contact the other party separately when necessary.
Do not stalk, harass, impersonate, obtain another person’s location without authorization, act unlawfully, defeat code or permission protections, bypass payment verification, or disrupt the service.
Follow traffic laws. Stop in a lawful and safe place before operating a phone; never let a countdown or arrival prompt distract you while driving.
People aged 18 or older may use Pikpa independently. Anyone under 18 must first have a legal guardian read and agree to these terms and must use Pikpa with that guardian’s accompaniment or assistance.
04Tasks, permissions, and service limitations
Pickup codes and confirmation stages expire as shown in the app. A task ends when it expires, is cancelled, waiting is stopped, or it is completed; a new task may be required for another pickup.
Distance, estimates, and notices may be delayed, interrupted, or inaccurate because of network, location quality, roads, device settings, background limits, battery, or third-party services. Verify the actual address and circumstances.
Drivers must grant the required location permission. Waiting persons can enter an address or choose manually; permission is needed only for “Current location.” Revoking required permissions may disable features.
The waiting person does not see the driver’s live location or route. See the Privacy Policy for processing and retention. Temporary backend pickup data is cleared immediately when a task is completed, cancelled, times out, or otherwise ends.
05Paid download and ad-free service
Pikpa is a paid app purchased through App Store or Google Play. This version has no advertising, ad-removal purchase, in-app purchase, or subscription.
Price, currency, compatible devices, and purchase conditions are those shown by the store at purchase.
06Purchase and re-download
The original store account manages the purchase. Use that account to reinstall on a compatible device. The app has no restore-purchase or ad-removal entry.
Availability across stores, accounts, and family sharing follows platform rules; purchases are not promised to transfer across stores.
07Refunds and purchase issues
For payment, download, or refund issues, use the original platform’s process or email [email protected].
Refunds follow applicable law, the product’s actual nature, and platform rules. These terms do not exclude statutory cancellation, refund, or consumer rights.
08Personal data, content, and intellectual property
We process pickup, location, purchase, and support data under the Privacy Policy. You retain your legal rights in information you provide and permit only the processing needed to provide the service.
Pikpa software, interfaces, branding, and original content belong to us or the lawful rights holder. You may use the app under these terms and applicable law but may not reproduce, sell, or infringe rights without authorization.
09Updates, suspension, and termination
We may update or briefly maintain the service for security, maintenance, or improvements and will provide advance notice of major effects where feasible. Necessary and proportionate restrictions may be applied to conduct that threatens rights, safety, or service operation, with a reasonable contact or appeal channel.
If service will end or a change materially affects paid rights, we will provide notice, explanation, and remedies required by law. We will not arbitrarily cancel paid rights through unilateral terms changes or require repeat purchase solely because of a name or routine version update.
10Liability and disputes
We reasonably maintain service quality, but location, estimates, notices, and third-party services remain subject to Section 4. Nothing here excludes liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or requires waiver of statutory consumer rights.
For concerns, first email [email protected]. You may still use complaint, mediation, or court procedures available by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Courts are determined by applicable law without excluding mandatory consumer protections.
11Updates and contact
Updated terms will show an effective date. Material changes will be notified appropriately and renewed consent obtained when required. Changes do not retroactively remove statutory rights; if one provision is invalid, the remaining lawful and severable provisions continue.
